Howlett vows to be fit

Doug Howlett has no intention of missing the Heineken Cup final against Toulouse despite suffering from a toe injury.
The All Black suffered a small fracture when standing on his foot during training earlier this month and has been warned by medical staff to stay off his feet to ensure he is fit for the trip to Cardiff on Saturday week.
He is following the advice of the province's medical team and is optimistic of being available for selection by Declan Kidney.
"It's a small break in one of the toes," Howlett told the Irish Examiner. "It's minor. While I have this time off in the last two weeks, it give it time to allow the fracture glue.
"It's not going to stop me playing. The medical team and I are giving it the best possible chance to recover. I'm staying off the foot at the moment and doing a lot of swimming and gym work. I hope to be back running on Monday."
