Bolger leans towards Curragh

Jim Bolger has reiterated his desire to run Lush Lashes in the Darley Irish Oaks instead of the Epsom equivalent early next month.
The filly's highly-impressive five-length win over Cape Amber in the Tattersalls Musidora Stakes at York resulted in her jumping to the head of the betting for the Juddmonte-sponsored Classic, only for Bolger to immediately declare the Curragh to be his preferred target.
The County Carlow-based handler has no desire to be rushed into a decision and has expressed his intention to bide his time before finalising plans, although he concedes that the Curragh looks the likeliest choice.
"It is too soon to tell how she's taken the race as she has only just arrived back," he explained.
"The plan remains the same as yesterday. We will see how she is in the next few days.
"She has the option of two Oaks and could run in either or both, but the Curragh is more likely at this stage. However, I am not ruling either race in or out."
