Milne leaves Bairns for Iron

Scunthorpe have wrapped up a deal for Kenny Milne, dashing Falkirk’s hopes of persuading the defender to sign a new contract.
Milne’s future had been in doubt ever since he opted to let his contract with the SPL side wind down.
Falkirk had hoped Milne would report for pre-season training, but his failure to show prompted the club to accept he was on the move.
The 28-year-old had expressed a desire to head south and Scunthorpe have handed him that chance with a two-year contract.
"I had quite a few offers to come down to England, I've played in Scotland for a long time now and I fancied a whole new challenge," Milne told the club's official website.
"I spoke to the manager (Nigel Adkins) and I was dead impressed with what he had to say. He has ambitions to get the club back into The Championship and I want to be a part of that.
"I've been offered the chance to come down to England and I think now is the best time to do that."
