Wheels turn on Ferrari/West Ham rumours

West Ham are closing in on the capture of Roma defender Matteo Ferrari, according to reports in Italy.
Ferrari has become dismayed by his lack of playing opportunities at Stadio Olimpico, where he has rejected a new contract offer from the Giallorossi.
It is believed the former Everton defender has given up on staying in Serie A, after Fiorentina declared they would not make any more summer signings.
West Ham could well find themselves requiring a new right back, with reports linking Lucas Neill to Galatasaray – where he would link up with compatriot Harry Kewell.
As a result, The Hammers have reportedly offered Ferrari a four-year contract, worth £1.9 million-per-year.
