Corradi wants City exit
by Ben Blackmore, 05 July 2008
Bernado Corradi has revealed he is hoping to quit Manchester City in order to return to Italy this summer.
The City misfit is currently back at Eastlands after being farmed out on loan to Parma last season.
Corradi has scored just three league goals in 25 appearances during his time in England, and his first team opportunities are unlikely to have been helped by the arrival of record signing Jo.
The Italian does not see a future for himself under new boss Mark Hughes, and he pleaded for reported pursuers Reggina to come calling.
“There are eight strikers at City and I believe the club will want to analyse the coach’s intentions,” Corradi told Strill.it.
“Everything has changed, not only the coach but even the club’s directors.
“Usually in these situations it’s down to the player and my intention is to return to Italy.
“I hope there is a chance for me to break my relationship with the club and move back to Italy.”
